    Sponsor a tree to help commemorate 500 years since the Battle of Linlithgow Bridge, was fought on 4th September 1526. Battle Wood is located near the community orchard, opposite the Xcite Leisure Centre in Linlithgow, please see details on the map below.

    Tree sponsorship is £20 which covers all costs including planting and maintenance.

    The Strangers Brewing Company has created Pikestaff especially for Battle 500.  It will be a traditional Scottish Ale, around 4.2% ABV, with a focus on malt flavours and character, similar to a traditional 80 Shilling but lighter in colour.  You can purchase a voucher now to be sure of getting your commemorative pack of two bottles of Pikestaff and a glass chalice when they become available in May 2026.
