Battle 500

2026 marks the 500th anniversary of the Battle of Linlithgow Bridge.

The Linlithgow community and other groups across Scotland have come together to organise a series of exciting, fun and special events. Full details are included in the Battle 500 website but Linlithgow Civic Trust is also involved and you can purchase Pikestaff Beer packs online, sponsor a tree in Battle Wood or buy tickets for Bruce Jamieson’s spectacular multimedia events in St Michael’s Parish Church on Friday 4th September and on Saturday 5th September.

Commemorative Book: The Battle of Linlithgow Bridge. Written by Ron Smith, the new book will be available in August. Advance subscribers and sponsors who apply before 7 September will be acknowledged in the book. Subscribe Here
